Welcome to the latest edition of Complete Data News.
Well the first month of the new financial year is over and Complete Data is off to a flying start with the appointment of a business development manager, Patrick Zuluaga. Patrick brings to the business a wealth of experience in IT markets so is sure to take Complete Data to new and wonderful heights. Luke and Andrew have been flying all over Australia; from Darwin to Byron Bay and Warrnambool installing Complete Data - the word is certainly getting out that in a downward market, you need a program like Complete Data to rise to the top. In this edition we welcome a number of new members, bring you a report from Lee Woodward on what he’s seeing in the field, and another helpful tip from Luke.

Lee Woodward’s Market Place Report- Planning for success
Success in real estate is dependent on two major abilities: the ability to sell and the ability to manage the administrative processes of buying and selling property. Where most real estate agencies fall down is poor management and their failure to manage the day to day operations of their business.
But the good news is that poor management is easy to fix. It doesn’t require massive investments in textbooks and business consultants – it requires the purchase of Complete Data.
Over the years that I have worked as an agent and trainer I have quantified and specified exactly what agencies need to do to be successful. Hard to believe, I know, but it is true.
I have established through exhaustive research that there are 39 systems or procedures that need to be completed to run a successful agency. This knowledge though, is not held under lock and key or only available to the people with the deepest pockets.
It’s available to all. It’s a computer program and it is on a disk. It is Complete Data. Complete Data is your management system.
Complete Data contains all those systems that you require to run a successful business. It is the infrastructure you require to run your business. Train your staff in how to use Complete Data and you will have a successful business in the short term and be creating your leaders for the future.
Consider your future leaders now and put them on a journey of learning Complete Data as your management system.

Recommended Learning Schedule
As we enter a new financial year you might be starting to plan for your internal staff training requirements. To help you with any Complete Data training that you might be planning internally within your company we have developed a training matrix for Complete Data. We call this matrix the Complete Data Learning Schedule which shows you at a glance which employees need training in which parts of Complete Data. Some staff members will typically be covering more than one role in the office but our Learning Schedule will help you plan your training around people’s roles knowing which parts of Complete Data they need training in.

Product Development - Buyer Range Changes
Based on feedback from a number of teams we have been working on ways to improve the buyer requirements screen in the Complete Data contacts database, specifically to help people do buyer match reports by a price range. Complete Data currently uses 2 separate fields to track a buyer’s price range: Price From and Price To. Some users have found this confusing when doing price range searches as it involves using the symbols when doing a find and some users were not consistently using both price range fields.
We have reworked the price range fields by combining the Price From and Price To fields into one field: Price Range, which for example might have the following options:
$0-$250,000
$250,000-$325,000
$325,000-$400,000
$400,000-$475,000
$475,000-$550,000
$550,000-$625,000
$625,000-$700,000
$700,000-$775,000
$775,000-$850,000
$850,000-$925,000
$925,000-$1,000,000
$1,000,000-$1,250,000
$1,250,000-$1,500,000
$1,500,000+
Using one price range field means you no longer have to select from the symbols when doing a find in the Buyer screen and you don’t have to worry about filling in both fields. We’re confident this will help the buyer price range matching much easier for Complete Data users. To view a screenshot of how this looks click here.
This upgrade is now available for installation please contact June Newman for more information. This feature is only available for Complete Data Professional users.
