Getting Started with Complete Data
A very generous user of Complete Data - Mike Steltenpool from the ACT – recently sent us a brief guide that he had written to getting started with Complete Data. We were so impressed with Mike’s ideas and insights that we asked his permission to share this document with the rest of the Complete Data community. Mike happily agreed – we’ve done some design work and created an easy to read PDF but all the text is from Mike. To read Mike’s guide to getting started with Complete Data just click on the following link:
Mike's Guide to getting started.
Even if you’ve been using Complete Data for a while we recommend you have a read of Mike’s getting started guide as there’s something in there for everyone.
AREC
Just a reminder that Complete Data will once again be exhibiting at the upcoming Australian Real Estate Conference in Sydney – AREC. If you’re heading to AREC make sure you come and introduce yourselves and meet all the team at Complete Data. We’d love to catch up with you and get any feedback about how the program can be improved or discuss any challenges you’re currently facing.
Tip – Setting 1 Activity for the Current Found Set
Here’s a little tip that might save you a lot of clicking. When you’re in the Contacts database and you using the “Set 1 Activity for Current Found Set” button to generate scheduled tasks for a group of Contacts (e.g all current vendors or all buyers) you have two options to select Yes or No for the Completed field. If you’re performing the task immediately (for example you’re printing the letter now) make sure you select Yes for the Completed field. If you don’t and you’re doing a letter to 100 contacts you might find yourself clicking Yes 100 times in your Scheduled Tasks database subsequently.
If there is anything you would like covered in the next edition of Complete Data News please let us know – just reply to this email with your comments and suggestions.
