Why do I only get one record
when printing?
How do I add a new label layout using
Avery standard labels?
The last row of records is missing when
I print Avery labels.
Why do I only get one record when printing?
When I print some records only the first record is printed?
When you print from FileMaker you have 2 options in
the print dialog box:1 - Records being browsed2 -
Current RecordWhen you select Records being browsed
it prints all records in the current found set. When
you select Current Record it prints just the one record
that you were looking at.

How do I add a new label layout using Avery
standard labels?
I would like to create a label layout in the Contacts
database using some Avery labels I have purchased, such
as the L7159, but they are not available in the list
when creating a new label layout.
On each workstation there is a folder in the following
directory which contains country specific codes for
Avery labels:C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro
8\Extensions\LabelsBy default the only country file
installed is "LabelsUS.flb". There is another
folder named:C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro
8\Extensions\Labels (Inactive)which contains label
files for various countries included one named "LabelsAUS.flb".
Simply move "LabelsAUS.flb" to the:C:\Program
Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro 8\Extensions\LabelsOnce
this file has been copied open Complete Data, and when
you create a new label layout you will see a list of
Avery and other labels that are available in Australia.

The last row of records is missing when I
print Avery labels.
When I print Avery labels from either the Contacts or
Service Area database the last row of records is missing.
How can I fix this?
Due to the differences in the printable area and margin
sizes between the different models of printers, it might
be necessary to make an adjustment for this in Complete
Data for each of the affected Avery label layouts. The
following procedure demonstrates how you can fix this
for the Avery L7160 layout in the Contacts database
- follow the same procedure for any other layouts that
you are experiencing problems with.1 -Open Complete
Data using the Level 4 password, click Contacts and
from the View menu select Layout Mode2 - using the
drop down menu in the top left hand corner above the
rolodex icon select Avery L71603 - Double click the
word “Body” on the left hand side of the labels which
opens the Part Definition dialog box4 - remove the
tick next to “Discard remainder of part before new page”
and click OK5 - go back to the drop down menu in the
top left hand corner above the rolodex icon and select
Data Entry6 - from the View menu select Browse mode.
Now print a sample of records and confirm that the last
row of records is printing.
